Since 1986, Realtor Carol Bushberg has been helping Tompkins County clients navigate every turn in the local real estate market.

The Ithaca Board of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service host is currently BACK ONLINE WITH LIMITED CAPABILITIES. We thank everyone for their understanding and patience AS WE GRADUALLY GET BACK TO NORMAL.

Licensed Real Estate Broker, Owner

“I’m the Real Estate Broker at Carol Bushberg Real Estate…I’m also a real estate professional. I list property, I work with buyers; it keeps me fresh, it keeps me engaged.”

Carol is a New Jersey native and a Cornell ’79 graduate. She has sold property in and around Ithaca for too many decades to admit.

Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

“I listen to my clients, I let them vent. I let them process. No one ever feels rushed by me.”

Jill was voted the Ithaca Times’ People’s Choice for Best Realtor in Ithaca (4x!).  She has been recognized for her dedication to first-time homebuyers by the Ithaca Board of Realtors.

Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

“I feel like I’m at by best in my career when I’ve actually hit the mark with my client every time — that’s what I’m shooting for.”

A passionate advocate for her clients, Hilda also brings an artist’s eye to the management of her listings. Hilda has lived on three continents, traveled extensively, and speaks English, Spanish and French.

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

“I offer my clients guidance and comfort. I’ve always been a helper, it’s in my DNA.”

An Ithaca native and a relative newcomer to the local real estate industry, Julia earned her real estate license in 2019. She is patient, generous, and prides herself on having a great understanding of “all things Ithaca.”

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

“Building trust is most important to me…. I want my clients to feel their interests come first overall, buying or selling is secondary.”

Originally from Marcellus, NY, Melynda has sold real estate since 2015. Service-oriented and a dedicated professional, she brings an experienced eye and kind-hearted exuberance to her real estate practice.

Our territory

Each local town, village and hamlet in Tompkins county has its own unique personality, natural beauty and appeal. We’ll help you find what suits your needs.  All of us at CBRE live, work and play in Ithaca, and can be your tour guide to the best the area has to offer.

Hate has NO home here. Our agents and staff stand against discrimination or mistreatment of any person, for any reason. Our office is free from hateful speech and behavior, providing a safe place for all of our clients and colleagues.

The Ithaca Spirit

Whether you are already a proud area resident or considering a move here, you’re probably aware of the spirit of the Finger Lakes and Ithaca, in particular. As with so many places, the Covid-19 Pandemic has temporarily tamped down the vibrancy of our eateries, theaters, and festivals. But we look forward to the “aftertimes”, when we can once again celebrate these events safely and together.

Are You as Fascinated About
the History of Your Home as We Are?

The HistoryForge project is a major initiative of The History Center in Tompkins County. They’ve created a unique way to visualize the history of this community in the early 1900s by combining historical maps and photos with census records of the people who lived in Ithaca and Tompkins County between 1880 and 1950. We recommend exploring this tool.

Since we opened our doors Carol Bushberg Real Estate has grown, but our winning strategy has never changed. We are a team in the finest sense of the word.
